ello everyone, I need information about RAMS compatibility for Victus 16 MOBO 8A25
I changed the Samsung RAM that came by default (8GBx2 4800mhz (16GB in total)) for some Corsair Vengance 16GBX2 SODIMM DDR5
Since the day I changed the RAM, the Laptop started having freezing problems. It hit every so often. I thought it was some corrupt or bad RAM, I changed them for others. I still have the same problem. Yesterday I decided to change them for the Samsgun RAM that it came with and it stopped crashing randomly. There is rarely a pattern to frostbite, but it is always the same symptom. It sticks and the last sound in the loop remains playing. It is not a temperature problem since it can happen at rest, playing or browsing. I have done stress, temperature, and hardware tests separately, testing module by module, removing the SDD that I bought, adding more cooling, changing the thermal paste. for more than 3 months, and the only way to keep it stable was by returning to RAM
Yesterday I found a post on HP North America from someone who had exactly the same experience with t...
The symptoms are exactly the same. I have also seen several people who have had similar experiences when upgrading their memories, which is why I was left with the regret of not knowing what RAM they are compatible with, since finding official information about this laptop has been very difficult.
Is there any OFFICIAL HP LIST OF RAM compatible for this specific model?
I don't want to buy other RAM and have the same problem.
Thank you
