Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

what is the maximum RAM I can install in this laptop. Its a bit old now and I'm planning on upgrading storage and RAM, just wondering what the maximum RAM speed and capacity is. There's currently 1 x 4 GB 2400 MHz and I was planning on replacing it for 2 x 4 GB 2666 MHz. Or if possible 3200 MHz

Hi:

 

You can install up to 2 x 8 GB of memory in your notebook.

 

You can install any memory 2400 MHz or faster, but anything faster than 2400 MHz is only going to run at 2400 MHz, because that is as fast as your notebook's i5-8250U processor can run the memory at.

 

Intel® Core™ i5-8250U Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.40 GHz)

 

Below is the link to the service manual.  Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.
