Hi:

 

I do not recommend that you use performance or gaming memory in your notebook because HP installed standard memory with standard timings and performance memory has faster timings than the standard memory of the same speed has.

 

Since you cannot make any adjustments to the memory timing/XMP profile in the BIOS the high-performance memory may not work.

 

I recommend you use the standard memory with the standard timings like the type that HP installed for best results.
