17.3'' OMEN 17-cb0003nq
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This are my current specifications : Intel® Core™ i7-9750H (12M Cache, up to 4.50 GHz), 8GB DDR4, 1TB 7200 RPM + 512GB SSD, GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB.

First , I knew that my RAM memory was 2666 Mhz(even in the datasheet of the laptop it says 2666)  BUT  in HP Support Assistant it shows me that the RAM memory is on 3200 Mhz .

Second , I would like to do an upgrade from 8gb to 16gb and some suggestions would help. So I am not really sure on what frequency are my rams and on what frequency should be those that I will buy .

P.S. : amazon doesn't deliver in my country i believe.

Thanks in advance .

Hi:

Below is the link to the Crucial memory report for your notebook.

https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/hp-omen-17-cb0003nq

According to the report, you can go as high as 2 x 32 GB of memory.

HP may have installed a 3200 MHz memory chip in your notebook but it is only going to run at 2666 MHz, which is the fastest speed the processor your notebook has can run the memory at.

I would get another 3200 MHz memory chip so that it matches the one currently installed.
