Hello,

 

I'm using HP notebook 15 ac 122tu, It has Intel core i3 5005U processer and HP 80C1 motherboard.

 

1x4 GB DDR3 1600Mhz single Chanel ram already installed in it and now I want to upgrade a Dual Chanel 1x4 GB DDR3 1600Mhz ram, Can my laptop runs smoothly????

 

And please clarify can my system runs if I am using two different brands ram with same size & same frequency ???

Yes, you can use same size, same specs RAM on slot 2 to allow machine runs smoothly. Information for dual channels mode
