My Laptop model is 15-r205TU, I tried to expand RAM , already 4 GB is installed. When the service engineer a

Installed 4GB, the display was not coming at all so he said may be it's not supporting 4GB, then he installed 2 GB RAM, laptop started but after 1 min it's got off again..now after removing that 2GB RAM also my laptop display is not working. Now the engineer is saying, MOTHERBOARD got crashed...Is It so or he is just trying to confuse me?

Please help me out.

Your notebook can support 2 x 8 GB of memory, so I would say that there is a hardware issue with your PC.
