Hi everyone,

I would like to know if it is also possible to upgrade my PC with another RAM. It seems I have a 4GB RAM installed. Here is what I found.

Product Name: HP Notebook
Product Number: X7T78UA#ABA
Serial Number: [edited]

Processor: AMD A6-7310 APU with AMD Radeon R4 Graphics 2.00 GHz

Installed Memory (RAM): 4.00 GB (3.47 GB usable)

System type: 64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor

Would appreciate anyone's reponse. Thanks so much!

Hi,

The notebook supports max 16GB of DDR3L 1600Mhz RAM (2x8GB)

There are two slots and at the moment you have one 4GB module in one slot. You can buy from your preferred brand such as Crucial, Samsung...

On page 46 of service manual you can see the steps to upgrade RAM:

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05227786

Example of RAM:

https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/hp-15-ba009dx

Another upgrade you should consider is replacing the 2,5" Hard Drive with a 2.5" SSD,

Hope it helps,

David
