Hi
my laptop comes up 4gb RAM DDR4-2400 (1200 MHz) installed SLOT 1
SLOT 2 is free so i like to add other RAM...

I LIKE TO ADD 16gb or 8gb so i like to this ram
Crucial CT16G4SFD8266 16GB Single DDR4 2666 MT/s PC4-21300 DR x8 SODIMM 260-Pin RAM
Can i us SLOT1 = 4GB and SLOT2 = 8GB OR 16GB
is that possible
or any other suggestion

The best option is to run RAM in dual channels that means BOTH slots use same RAM stick specs. You can use 12GB (4+8) or even 20GB (4+16) but what for ? You can upgrade to
(a) 8GB: add same existing RAM to slot 2 or using the following compatible RAM

(b) 16GB: install 8GB each to both slots using the following compatible RAM

(c) 32GB: install 8GB each to both slots using the following compatible RAM

You can install 2666MHz, it will run at lower speed which is 2400MHz. But please use same speed RAM
