OMEN by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-wf1000 (8X3Z0AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I am looking for an upgrade from 32GB to 64GB ram. Is it possible to get 2 more slots of 32 GB DDR5-5600 MT/s (2 x 16 GB)  or 2x32 GB if it comes with 2 slots only. This is OMEN  Gaming Laptop 16-wf1018ca.
How do I confirm if it is upgradeable to 64GB?  Any guidance will be appreciated. Thanks.

The notebook only has two memory slots.

HP only has the service manual for the original model series and chapter 1 indicates the max memory is 2 x 16 GB.

Maintenance and Service Guide

I don't believe you should have a problem if you want to install 2 x 32 GB of memory.

The Crucial memory report for the model series indicates it will support 64 GB of memory.

This seller on Amazon was selling a model with 64 GB of memory installed.

Some of these folks buy these PC and upgrade the memory and drives and sell them in different configurations.

You can also run this command to see what Windows indicates:

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

You're very welcome.

Yes, you should be fine with 2 x 32 GB of memory.

Just make sure you get memory with the same timing (CL) specs as the memory HP installed.
