Hello!

My first couple of question to anyone who can help and i will try my best not to sound to much of a noobie.

 

I have a HP ENVY x360 Convertible 13-bd0xxx 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD

Question 1 -

i was looking to upgrade the RAM to 16gb or higher, but after scouring the web discovered that its pretty impossible with my model as the memory is part of the motherboard, oh no!

 

So i was wondering if there was a motherboard replacement option to get me either up to 16gb or has an upgradeable RAM option ?

 

If i'm completely mistaken and there is a way to upgrade the RAM on my machine, would very like to hear from you before i do something crazy like taking the laptop apart beforehand.

 

Question 2

I would also like to upgrade the SSD drive to 1TB and wondered if it was fine to plug in the Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1 TB PCIe NVMe M.2 , any issues with maximum size of SSD storage or use of the improved access speed?
