Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I'd like to know if I can upgrade the RAM on my specific laptop model. I know it only has 1 memory slot so I would be replacing the current 4GB ram module with an 8GB one.

 

Is this possible? Are there parts that are soldered and would cause me to not be able to upgrade the ram, and does the system allow for an 8 GB module?

Hi,

 

You have to make decision upfront and buy the right model because RAM is not upgradable:

 

2 SODIMM slots DDR3L-1600
Support for DDR3L-1600
Support for dual channel
Supports up to 16384-MB maximum on-board system memory

I am looking for clarification on this question. Is this model's (13-s195nr) RAM upgadeable or not?

 

I was looking at this site:

And this website sure makes it seem like we are able to buy and swap out memory for this model laptop.

 

Please confirm or deny if I buy a pair of 8GB matched modules if they will work on my laptop. Thank you!
