RAM Upgrade for HP Pavilion x360 15-cr0091ms laptop

Hello,

I am looking to add RAM to the second slot of my HP Pavilion x360 15-cr0091ms laptop. Can anyone please suggest which RAM would be the best? I was looking for RAM from Crucial, but I am open to suggestions for company and product type. I am not sure if I will need DDR4-2400 or DDR4-3200. The HP manual says DDR4-2400 2666MHz works, and the Crucial website says DDR4-3200 works. I would also like to have some guidance for steps to follow after installing the RAM in the second slot. Currently, my laptop has 16GB RAM, and I am looking to upgrade it to 24 GB or 32 GB.

You're very welcome. 

Memory is plug and play.

You shouldn't need to do anything else after installing the memory. 

24 GB of memory will run in single channel mode, and 32 GB of memory (2 x 16 GB) will run in dual channel mode.
