Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-d0000 (2V8U5AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I own an HP Victus 16 laptop which originally came with 2 RAM sticks, one being 8GB and the other 4GB. Unfortunately, the 8GB RAM stick has malfunctioned and I'm looking to replace it with a 16GB RAM stick. Could you please guide how check if a particular RAM is compatible with my device or not?

I've heard suggestions about Corsair, specifically the VENGEANCE® LPX 16GB (1 x 16GB) DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz C18 Memory Kit - Black. Can anyone advise if this option is compatible with my device? Additionally, I'd appreciate recommendations for other compatible RAM options if this one isn't suitable. Thank you!"

Get a 16 GB memory chip with the same specs (speed and timing) as the ones HP installed or an equivalent DDR4-3200 MHz memory chip.

The service manual indicates that the notebook supports DDR4-2933 MHz memory, but it appears that HP installed DDR4-3200 MHz memory in many notebooks in that model series, so I would go with a 16 GB DDR4-3200 CL22 memory chip.
