Hi there,

 

I was trying to upgrade my Pavilion 14-ce0xx but after I open the bottom panel, I can't find another slot for RAM. Though when I check on performance in TaskMan it says that only 1 out of 2 slots is used.

Another query, I'm not sure if I can use a 2666mhz on my laptop?

Hi,

It has one slot and supports max 16GB of DDR4 2133MHz RAM. You can use 2666MHz or 2400MHz RAM which will run at 2133MHz.

You can purchase from your preferred brand.

Example:

https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/pavilion-14-%28models-14-ce000---14-...

On page 71 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM.
