Hello, I have purchased my HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2xx about a week ago.
The specs are;
AMD Ryzen 5
Nvidia RTX 3050
8gb RAM
I plan to upgrade my RAM to up to 64gb by the end of 2022. The problem is that I do not know the limit on what RAM my HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2xx. It may be only 16gb, 32gb, or 64gb.
I would want to know as to how much gigabytes of RAM I can upgrade to.

Hi:
HP only has the service manual for the older 15-ec0xxx models on your notebook's support page (the service manual that has a file size of 8.79 MB).
So, the information in that manual may be outdated.

The only suggestion I can offer would be to do this to see how much memory your notebook can support...
1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator. This will open the command prompt.
2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and hit enter.
There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.
The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.
Your notebook uses DDR4-3200 memory.
