Hello,
I'm considering to buy this notebook, what is keeping me from buying it right now is that I don't know if a RAM upgrade is possible and if upgrading RAM could in any way compromise warranty.
This notebook comes with a 1x8 GB of SDRAM DDR4, I just would like to know if I would be able to upgrade to 16 GB with 2x8 GB.
Its CPU supports up to 32 GB addressable RAM, so theoretically yes but often notebook vendors limit on purpose upgrades on their products.
As far as I know there is no information on HP product page.

According to the Maintenance and Service Guide it has one memory slot but can be upgraded. Chapter 1,pg 2. As for warranty most here seem to be of the opinion that as long as you don't break anything it should be fine.

Thanks for your quick response.
I may have misunderstood reading but what do they mean with "noncustomer-accessible/non-upgradable" here in the red area of the table you told me at page 2?
I'm referring to this picture below:
Thank you!

It means it is hard to gain access to and not a recommended customer upgrade. Looking at the Manual this model doesn't really look like one of the harder ones to me.
