Pavilion 15-ECOO13DX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good afternoon.

I have read in the specs of the 15-ECOO13DX that the RAM can be upgraded to 16GB. It currently has 8GB. Does that mean it has two 4GB RAM modules or an open slot? Also, the laptop has a 256GB SSD and I was wondering if that can be upgraded. What would be the best RAM to buy and if the SSD can be upgraded what would be the route to go?

I was searching for a service manual and have been unsuccessful so far. Thank you for your time.

Pavilion 15-ECOO13DX is not a valid model, I think it is an HP Pavilion - 15-ec0013dx  (zeros, not letter O). Its specs

      https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06463281

It has  8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) that means 8GB on 1 slot. That means you can add SAME 8GB to slot 2 to have 16GB.

You have to use manuals for the whole series

Note ec0000  (zeros) not ecOOOO (letter O's).

Regards.
