Microsoft Windows 11

Hi all,

I just bought RAM  to upgrade my new laptopfrom upgradeable.com.au, at their staff suggestion this is what I bought - 16GB DDR 2666 MHz SODIMM. My new laptop is the HP 14-EM0202AU. I received the  RAM and went to install it - just one problem when I took the cover off the was no visible RAM.

Has anyone come across this problem and know where the RAM slot is??

Any help would be appreciated.

@Avalon121,

PartSurfer indicates your model comes with an Athlon 7120U processor and 8 GB RAM.

HP PartSurfer

Service manual for your model series (on page 2) states a model with 7120U processor has onboard memory which means memory is soldered on the system board and not upgradeable. That's why you didn't find memory slots when you opened the notebook.

Thanks for the info, Yes I'm able to return the RAM.
