@Gzx,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Please erase your serial number as spelled out in our Forum rules.

The max RAM for your HP Pavilion x360 14-cd0xxx laptop as per HP's specs is 2 x 8GB (16GB total) of DDR4 PC4-19200 (2400 MHz) Non-ECC, 260-pin SODIMM RAM.

However, most users as per UserBenchmark: HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-cd0xxx Compatible Components install 2666 MHz RAM for this laptop, such as: Samsung M471A1K43DB1-CTD or: Hynix HMA81GS6CJR8N-VK, which runs at 2400 MHz.

Point is that an 8GB 3200 MHz RAM stick will not run at 3200 MHz and may even down-throttle to less than 2400 MHz RAM speed.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

So please how can I make my laptop more faster Because now my laptop is empty and it stops a lot on the navigation windows (opera & Chrome) . What can I add to improve performance?

I3 8th

4gb 2400t

1tb hdd

I know I must add some SSD but what about RAM? 12GB 2400MHZ OR JUST 8GB 2666 MHZ?

@Gzx,

My recommendation is to purchase 2 x 8GB Samsung M471A1K43DB1-CTD RAM sticks: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-2666MHz-Memory-Laptops-M471A1K43CB1/dp/B07JWG53DG/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2NC... at $32 each, or to buy 2 x 8GB Hynix HMA81GS6CJR8N-VK RAM sticks: https://www.amazon.com/Hynix-PC4-21300-DDR4-2666MHz-260-Pin-HMA81GS6CJR8N-VK/dp/B07JP4C1PD/ref=sr_1_... at $35 each.

These RAM appear to be most liked/most used by HP Pavilion x360 14-cd0xxx laptop users.

Other than that, if you have the extra RAM already, add it/try it out and see if it makes your laptop faster.

Kind Regards,
