Hi
I have HP Laptop ( Product : 1DE70PA#ACJ , Model : 15-ay554tu ) WIth Win10( 64bit ).
Currently I have 4GB ram installed . I want to upgrade the RAM .
Please advise :
1. How many slots I have in this product . Is there 2nd slot available to install additional RAM
2. If second slot available , can I install a 8GB RAM in that to make total RAM as 12GB
3. Advise the specs that I should go for 8GB RAM that will fit in to avilable slot.
Thanks

Hi,
Max RAM for your system is 16GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM (2x8GB)
There are two slots. The RAM will run at 2133MHz. Yes, you can add a 8GB stick in second slot for total of 12GB. You can purchase from your preferred brand.
Example:
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP-Compaq/hp-15-ay554tu#MEMORYFilters
On page 56 of service manual you can see the steps to upgrade RAM
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05087748
You should also consider upgrading from 2.5"HDD to 2.5" SSD
Hope it helps,
David
