Hello Internet,

 

I am currently looking to upgrade the RAM on my OMEN Laptop but I am having issues finding anywhere online that stocks the RAM installed from the factory.

 

I currently have 8GB of RAM installed and I am just looking to buy another 8GB dimm. The exact make and model of the installed RAM is Kingston HP26D4S9S8ME-8. 

 

I cannot seem to find a seller of the same model anywhere in the UK. If someone could direct me towards a seller, it would be very much appreciated.

You can upgrade to 32GB of RAM using the following RAM sticks

 

   https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP---Compaq/hp-omen-15-dc1005na

 

You can use part # and buy RAM from Crucial UK

I only wish to upgrade to 16GB from my current 8GB. I see they sell a single 8GB dimm, will I be able to use this with the current dimm installed in the laptop?

Yes, you can upgrade to 16GB by adding 8GB more to slot 2 or all the way thru 32GB.  The link clearly says for

 

   compatible-upgrade-for/HP---Compaq/hp-omen-15-dc1005na
