You're very welcome.

I already provided the service manual  link in my first reply.

That has the procedure to remove and replace the memory.

Here is the link to the service teardown video which may also be of help.

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates your notebook can support 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-3200 CL22 memory.

Maintenance and Service Guide HP 15 Laptop PC

You can run this command to see if your notebook can support more than 16 GB of memory if you don't believe that would still not be enough RAM.

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

Thanks for such a quick response, bless you.

I've done the command and calculation and got 32. Could you kindly let me know which additional RAM type to buy and maybe guide me to a tutorial on how to install it? Thanks so much
