Hello everyone, I want to upgrade (change) RAM memory on my 6450b with one stick of Hynix 8Gb ddr3l 1600 memory as I got informed that low voltage memory works equaly well on standard voltage boards. Now I'm confused a little because I've read that this machine can't use sticks larger than 4Gb per slot (in case that I got it right). What do you think of this, should I try it and what consequences would be? Thanks in advance.

It supports 8GB (2 x 4GB) max. You can use DDR3 or DDR3L (newer and better). Following RAM sticks are compatible:

You can't use 8GB on 1 slot, machine may not boot at all.
Regards.
