Hello,

I have a notebook HP 255 G7 notebook PC 9TV57ES-ABD with 4GB Ram. Can I upgrade the Ram to 8GB with this notebook?

Hi, Thomas:

 

Yes, you can remove the 4 GB memory module and install an 8 GB memory module.

 

That is the max because the 255 G7 notebooks with the AMD A4-9125 Processor only have one memory slot and the max the slot can take is 8 GB.

 

Below is the link to the service  manual...the memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

which memory manufacturers are compatible with HP 255 G7 notebook PC 9TV57ES-ABD? Can I install Crusial memory? Can you tell me the exact name?
