Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
HP Notebook PC (AMD)HP 255 G4 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide
Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.
You can add another 4 GB chip to the existing one and have 8 GB.
Your notebook only supports memory running in single channel mode (800 MHz), which is why you are seeing 800 MHz in the report.
The 1600 MHz speed is the dual channel mode speed.
That means even when you add the second memory chip in the empty slot, where in most notebooks the memory would run at 1600 MHz, yours is still only going to run the memory at 800 MHz.

Hi thanks for ur reply .
So if add a second memory chip. The second one will be the same as the 1st one. In short if both the modules are same the speed would still remain 800 MHz and not increase to 1600 when upgraded to dual channel 4+4

Why i get 800 Mhz only ? Almost every PC of DDR3 is 1600 Mhz (in dual channel mode)
It will be a pleasure if you help out here also.
i have AMD A8 7410 CPU
AMD RADEON R5 M330 DEDICATED GRAPHIC CARD (2GB)
BUT WINDOWS IS SHOWING DEDICATED GPU MEMORY IS SHOWING 512mb

thanks again

Again, you are 100% correct.
Almost every other PC runs matching capacity memory in dual channel mode, but for some reason, the notebooks with that series of processors only runs the memory in single channel mode.
That is the way AMD designed the chipset and processor to work together.
There is nothing you can do to make the memory run in dual channel mode.

Anytime.
Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you for why only 512 MB of dedicated memory is showing up, when the specs indicate you should have 2 GB of dedicated memory.
My only guess at it is since your notebook has the dual AMD switchable graphics (R5/R5-M330 that it is only picking up the onboard R5 graphics which may only have 512 MB of dedicated memory.
