Product: HP Notebook - 15-ay516tx

I want to upgrade my HP Notebook -15-ay516tx with 16 GB RAM. Want to know Specifications of RAM suitable for my HP model.Any product suggestions (Samsung, Crucial) would be better.

Also can I replace my wifi network card? As speed of wifi is slow due to older wifi adaptor.

Is there any user manual pdf for this model.?

Your notebook supports 2 x 8 GB of DDR4-2100 MHz memory.

 

Most folks buy DDR4-2400, or DDR4-2666 MHz memory nowadays for the 6th generation core processors.

 

I recommend two of these:

 

Amazon.in: Buy Crucial Basics 8GB DDR4 1.2v 2666Mhz CL19 SODIMM RAM Memory Module for Laptops and No...

 

Since your notebook only has one antenna wire connected to the existing Wi-Fi adapter, you can upgrade the Wi-Fi card to this model:

 

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.
