It is very hard to find the right memory to work in PC's with the Intel 1st gen core processors.
The memory cannot be any faster than DDR3-1333 (PC-3-10600), it must be dual rank (2Rx8) and it must have 8 little black memory chips on each side of the circuit board, not 4.
Something like this:
There are some folks on this forum that reported 16 GB of memory works in the models with the Quad core processors, so if you want to take a chance on that, then this would be the 16 GB kit I recommend:

The bios says intel core i7 q 720, but I cannot find any records of that. The closest match I could find was the intel core i7 720qm, but they are not the same. If you do not know could you find me the manual for this specific model please? Thank you in advance. On my end the uploaded photo is not showing the q720, but that is what it shows there.
