Hi All, I have an

HP 250 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC with 16giga Ram.

would you be able to tell me how much ram my pc can support? i read on kingston's site that it supports 32 while running the command wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx shows me 64.
Do you recommend crucial?

Hi @mmo1987 

 

can support the 64 GB, but I don't think you'll see much difference in putting 32 versus 64 GB, but you can.

thank you very much for the answer, but you say using virtual machines there would not be much difference between 32 and 64 gigs? Is the processor underperforming?

Well that depends on how many virtual machines you are going to put, you must decide how much memory to allocate to each virtual machine.

 

It is a notebook, to put many virtual machines, I would be more aware of the temperature of the processor.
