Hi! I try to add Ram to the maximum for the ZBook 15 G5 with the i7-8750H processor. I have two sets of 16GBX2 Corsair Vengeance Sodim DDR4 - 2666 MHz / CMSX32GX4M2A2666C18 /.
When one set is placed in slot 1 and 2 / 2x16 / - no problem, everything works correctly, but does it add the second set / absolutely the same / on slots 3 and 4, the computer does not start.
It stays on the black screen and there are three long and two short beeps.
The original memory was in slot 1 and is Samsung
M471A2K43CB1-CTD. I read a lot on the subject, and there was only one doubt. Samsung is CL 19 and Corsair is CL 18. Can this be the cause of the problem? Excuse my English, I use a Google translator.

Hi:
I would say that the faster CL18 timing spec is definitely the problem.
HP business class notebooks do not use performance memory.
You have to use the standard memory with the standard timing specs.
DDR4-2400 = CL17
DDR4-2666 = CL19
DDR4-3200 = CL22
