Product: HP Envy x360 15-bp108ca
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi,
I'm trying to find out if it's possible to upgrade my laptop's RAM from 4GB to 8GB, and my SSD from 256GB(now fried) to 512GB? I was told that my laptop, which has an 8th gen i5 processor might not handle to RAM upgrade, is this true?

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual. It is kind of hard to interpret, but it appears you can upgrade by removing the 4 GB chip and installing an 8 GB chip. See chapter 1.

I don't know of any reason why you couldn't install a NVMe M.2 SSD up to 1 TB.
