HP Pavilion dv6-6180la PN: A2U69LA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

im planning to upgrade my RAM but im confused as to what is the maximum RAM my system can support. Onon the following link it says 8GB: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/273600/Hp-Pavilion-Dv6-6115.html?page=74#manual  it says the parts numbers to reemplace can be: 634091-001

Does my system support does my system supports 8GB per memory module as maximum(8GB +8GB) or (4GB+4GB)??

I searched for the compatible 8 GB memory module using the 634091-001 part number from the manual is it possible to reemplace with another brand less expensive?

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

Since your notebook has an Intel processor and chipset, you can install 2 x 8 GB of memory for a total of 16 GB.

See if you can get any of these memory chips in your country...
