Hi All,

 

Need to expand the Laptop RAM memory 

Currently it is having 4 GB. So is it possible to expand to 8 GB?

Mother Board having only 1 slot for RAM

Details -

1) Current RAM : 4 gb 1rx8 pc3l 12800s 11 13 B4 HMT451s6bfr8a pb no aa 1446

2) Current Motherboard : ZS051 LA-A996P , Rev : 4.0 - 2014 -02-20 Made in China

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info.

 

Your notebook has one memory slot and can support a max of 1 x 8 GB of DDR3L-1600 memory.

 

In order to upgrade the memory, you will need to remove the 4 GB memory chip and install an 8 GB memory chip.
