Hi All,

Hope you are all well 

I upgraded my laptop from 4GB RAM to 16GB (2x8GB) now the laptop shuts off randomly and the fan seems to be loud at times. The laptop is fairly new so no dirt or anything. 

I purchased crucial 2x8gb RAM 2400 not sure if this is the right RAM. Any help would be much appreciated.

Which RAM from Cucial did you buy ? Can you swap for the following ones

I believe I brought RAM similar to the ones advised but for some reason the laptop is not taking the RAM well it. The laptop goes in a sleep mode where touching the touchpad wakes it up.
