HP EliteBook 8570w Base Model Mobile Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi All, i have a HP EliteBook 8570w Mobile Workstation, Product number: A7C38AV, (Windows 10). The manual recommends only 1.5volt RAM modules to be used.

Will DDR3L/Low Voltage/1.35volts RAM modules work ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Sainty

Hi Sainty

Yes you can use DDR3L modules as the are compatible with 1,5V systems

It might not be a great idea to mix ddr3 and ddr3l modules

Thank you Iomare...it does not work.

One last quick one...do you perhaps know how the ram memory slots number? The HP Support Assistant numbers them:

Memory 1/ Bank 0/ Bottom-Slot 2(right)

Memory 2/ Bank 1/ Top - Slot 2 (under)

Memory 3/ Bank 3/ Top-Slot 1(top)

Memory 4/ Bank 3/ Bottom-Slot 2(????) empty

I am struggling to connect this to what i see inside the laptop. So, when i insert modules, which slot do i start with or fill first in order?

Thank you,

Regards,
