Product: Pavillion DV7
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a Pavilion DV7 - 2157ca product number NV031UA#ABC notebook laptop that has 4GB of RAM memory. The specs say it can only have a maximum of 8GB of RAM. I notice there are 2 RAM slots. I was wondering if I could replace the 4GB of RAM memory with two 8GB of RAM memory for a total of 16GB of memory to make the laptop run faster? If so, any recommendations on RAM I should look for?

Hi Visruth. Thanks for the information. I notice that I can upgrade to 8GB of RAM. I currently have 2 chips of 2GB. I would like to replace it with 2 chips of 4GM RAM. Can you suggest where I can get and the part numbers for the the new RAM chips? Can you recommend a youtube  video on how to replace it? Thanks.
