I have a 17-BY4062CL and was wondering how much RAM it can take. I am seeing conflicting answers. Somewhere on HP's site I see 32 GB but Intel says the CPU can handle 64 GB (total). Is 32 just because 16 GB modules are the largest DDR4 SODIMM modules commonly available? Really 32 is a lot but I was curious if it could handle 32GB 2x32 modules (instead of 2x16).

Hello @Charlesh4
Ask the motherboard what it can handle...
(1) Launch the Windows command prompt and execute below command
wmic memphysical get maxcapacity
Divide the result by 1024 and again by 1024
or
divide result by 1048576
You will get GB (Gigabytes)
(2) Please report your results
