Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa1000 (9P833AV)

I have a laptop — HP Victus 15-fa1024nw.

I would like to know if I can remove the back cover myself to install additional RAM without voiding the official warranty.

If this is allowed, is there an official guide or any recommendations on how to do it properly without damaging warranty seals or other components?

Thank you in advance.

This is a peer-to-peer forum.

We do not work for or represent HP, so we are unable to reply on HP's behalf regarding the warranty terms and conditions.

I recommend you contact HP customer service and seek an official answer from HP.

Chapter 5 of the service manual indicates that installing SSD's or memory is a customer-authorized procedure, so off the record, I would assume that you will not void the warranty unless you break something in the process of doing the upgrades.

Important:  If your notebook ever needs warranty service, you must retore it to its original hardware configuration before sending it in for warranty work.
