Product: HP 15-bs020wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When looking in Task Manager, Windows tells me I have two slots of RAM, one is being used. So I opened my laptop to insert another 4GB stick only to discover one and only one slot on my motherboard. Is there a slot I'm missing? I can't find it. Sorry for the simple question.

Hi:

 

Notebooks with the Pentium processors such as yours, only have one memory slot and the max memory the slot can take is an 8 GB memory chip.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade info...
