Product: HP Pavillion 15-bc021tx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have Pavillion 15bc021tx and I have already installed RAM of Kingston 8GB DDR4 2133MHz. I want to add additional RAM of Crucial 8GB DDR4. Can I add [Crucial 8GB DDR4 2666MHz] OR [Crucial 8GB DDR4 2400MHz] along with existing (2133Mhz) RAM? 

I AM JUST CONCERNED WITH DIFFERENT FREQUENCIES. Please help.

Hi:

 

That would be fine.

 

The memory will automatically bridge to 2133 MHz to match the speed of the 2133 MHz memory chip you already have.

I have this one installed earlier:

Thinking to buy the same because it the same RAM module installed earlier and has as CL 15. 

 

The one you suggested has CL 19. What say??

If you want to install a DDR4-2133 memory chip, that would be fine.

 

The CL speed is tied to the memory speed.

 

The faster the memory, the higher the CL speed.
