Hello,
I have 17" ZBook Fury G8 Mobile workstation, (all driivers and BIOS updated) and I I have bought 4x 32GB DDR4@3200 Kingston Fury Impact (non ecc) to maximize RAM as is written in the laptop specs and
my laptop won't boot. Just blinks some leds and cooler start to blow. Is there any solution yet?

It specs ALSO says
Due to the non industry standard nature of some third-party memory modules, we recommend HP branded memory to ensure compatibility. Mixing memory speeds causes the system to perform at the lower memory speed.
Normally high end machines require proper RAM. My machine did not accept Crucial RAM (where it says fully compatible) and I had to order HP RAM (part #) thru Amazon.
Regards.

Hello IT74.
I've used the Kingston modules you referred to on G8/G9 HP business laptops and they usually work fine. The factory fitted modules HP uses for your ZBook Fury G8 system are the M471A4G43AB1-CWE . If you take a look at the specifications pdf of the Kingston KF432S20IBK2_64 kit , the chip organization is identical and the only difference is the slightly more aggressive timings of 20-22-22 instead of the jedec standard 22-22-22. However, this normally isn't a problem for recent HP business laptops.
Contrary to common belief, computer manufacturers don't actually HAVE to support any RAM module on the market that meets their specifications. According to their manuals, and info on their brochures, compatibility is assured only if you buy their specific spare part numbers. According to your ZBook's manual page 26, the HP certified 32GB RAM module is part number M09713-001. We have already gotten another post on the HP community of someone trying a 4x32GB config, and the system not booting. In this case, cl22 Teamgroup RAM was used. My advice is to get the HP certified Samsung RAM modules I linked to above. Since they're quite expensive, another option would be to purchase the Crucial "CT32G4SFD832A" 32GB modules on the Crucial ZBook Fury 17 G8 page. Waiting for HP (or any laptop manufacturer) to issue a BIOS update so as to support specific RAM modules (in this case gaming RAM) is not the best approach to this issue.
About the Crucial RAM module incompatibility issues, the problem seems to be with the new part numbers with the unspecified rank/chip organization, such as the 16GB modules. The 32GB modules are normal dual-rank sodimms and should work fine.
Post back if you need more help, or if you want to let us know that the Crucial/Samsung RAM modules worked.

Thanks for you reply,
the most annoying thing when I put 2 x 32GB it boots normally and shows 64 GB of ram but
when I put additional 2 x 32 GB of the same type it won't boot.
Good to know to avoid HP laptops in the future...

Thank you for your feedback IT74.
This is definitely interesting. Your system seems to correctly support the two (formerly known as HyperX) Impact modules, but refuses to work with more of them........ It's true that you are pushing your system to its limits with 128GB RAM. Of course you're within the system's specs, but let's not forget that laptops were sold with 128GB SSDs until recently. This could be a firmware issue with the specific RAM (and the Teamgroup RAM on that other thread), and HP is notorious for its badly written BIOS code. In that case, I think that you should go for the Samsung modules, because there's a strong possibility of the Crucial RAM also giving you grief.
I'm thinking of something else though. Are you positive that the ZBook becomes completely unbootable with the third and fourth modules? I'm asking because post-G8 business laptops, both with DDR4 and DDR5 RAM, exhibit a quirky behavior when RAM is upgraded. The LEDs flash, the screen remains black, the fan spins madly, but if you wait long enough they finally recognize the RAM and boot. When I upgraded RAM on my 650 G9, I actually went and made myself a cup of coffee and when I came back it had just started booting. Although your system is a G8 laptop (and not a G9/G10), these 4RAM-slot beasts are not your run-of-the-mill G8 laptops. There's a small chance that your firmware's acting up like on the later generations. It certainly can't hurt to check this out.......

Actually managed to find a post that supports this hypothesis: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/RAM-Upgrade-and-Blank-Screen/m...
