I'm looking to upgrade the RAM in my laptop. Model number is 15-db0004dx
Processor is AMD Ryzen 3 2200U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx, 2500 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
Laptop 15 manual says
* Two memory module slots (Ryzen, A9 processors)
* DDR4-2400 dual channel support (Ryzen, Athlon processors)
According to System Information, it has 8 GB RAM installed now. I don't know whether it's 1- 8GB module, or 2-4 GB modules, and don't plan to open it up to find out. I plan to have my local IT hardware repair guy (I live in a very rural area) install the new memory once I have it.
Is this the right module to order?
8GB DDR4 2400MHz (DDR4-2400) PC4-19200 (PC4-2400T) Non-ECC Unbuffered 1.2V CL17 1Rx8 Single Rank 260 Pin SODIMM Laptop Notebook PC Computer Memory RAM Module Upgrade (8GB)
I was planning to order 2 of them, in case what's in there now is 2 @ 4GB.
FYI, the HP parts store lists this: 8GB, 2400MHz, PC4-17000, 1.2v DDR4 SODIMM but they're out of stock.
Thanks for the help!

It has 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) now and supports 32GB max. You can upgrade to
(a) 16GB: Add SAME existing 8GB to slot 2
(b) 32GB: install 16GB each to both slots using : https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k16g4sfd824a/ct14359362

If you want to get a matching 8GB module to add to your existing 8GB module, you can run something like CPU-Z and it will tell you what is installed.
