Hello all,
I have a Pavilion 15-e005tx Notebook PC (Purchased 2013), with a single 8GB RAM stick installed (DDR3 Size 8192 MBytes),
What's the maximum available installed RAM for this Notebook?
I'm presuming that with a max 8GB fitted per slot - I can fit matching DDR3 8GB in the spare slot giving me 16GB total?
Is this how it works for this generation of Laptop?
System specifications below,

The Service Manual says 8 gb is the max total but it has 2 slots and if you have a single 8 gig module and an open slot yes you can simply add another like-kind DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM and have 16 gigs total. I cannot find specs for your specific model but since its an i5 3rd generation it can run 16 gigs total.
Memory upgrade on this is a simple matter since there is a customer access bay with an easy open door on the bottom.
Post back with any other questions and please accept as solution if this is the info you needed.
