Can we upgrade the RAM to 32 GB (2x16GB) by replacing the existing RAM modules in HP Pavilion x360 Convertible 14-dy1900TU Core i7?

You should be able to do that. You might even be able to go to 64 gigs on the 11th gen processor system. From the command line

This will tell you max memory. Unfortunately I cannot find the Service Manual for your model but specs indicate memory is slotted and not soldered to the motherboard. DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM
