Hi, I recently purchased the HP 14-BS047na laptop. I would like to upgrade the current RAM from 4MB to 8MB. Can you help me as I want to know the exact ram to purchase. Do I add to what is already in the laptop or replace? Is the ran slot(s) accesable under the cover? Thanks in advance for you help.

Hi,
Your PC supports max 8GB of DDR3L-1600Mhz SDRAM
It has one slot, so you need to replace the 4GB stick you have installed at the moment.
On page 49 of service manual you can see various steps to upgrade the RAM:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05485573
So what you need and can search online is
8GB DDR3L 1600Mhz Sodimm
Hope it helps,
David
