Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Guys,

 

I'm currently using "HP Laptop 15-da0xxx" with "Microsoft Windows 10 Home Single Language Version: 10.0.19042 Build 19042" having 4GB RAM. I believe my laptop performance is slow. Is it possible to upgrade the RAM to 8 GB?. 

 

Please let me know.

Hi:

 

If your notebook has a Pentium or Celeron processor, it has one memory slot and you would have to remove the 4 GB memory chip and replace it with an 8 GB memory chip.

 

If it has an Intel core processor, it has two memory slots and you can install a max of 2 x 8 GB of memory.

 

Below is the link to the service manual.  Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info...
