Hi,
I recently upgraded my OS to windows 10 in my HP Pavilion dv4-1436tx laptop.
Currently I have 4 GB RAM and want to upgrade it to 8/16 GB.
Will this be possible and by how much?
Laptop specs:
Model : HP Pavilion dv4-1436tx
Processor : Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile Processor T6600 (2.2 GHz) (INTEL PM45 EXPRESS CHIPSET/2 MB L2 CACHE/800 MHz FSB)
Memory : 4 GB PC2-6400 DDR2(800 MHz)
HDD : 320 GB SATA @ 7200 RPM
Screen : 14.1" WIDE SCREEN
Thanks.

Hi:
According to the service manual at the link below, you are already at the max.

While the processor and chipset supports 8 GB of memory, it would cost a small fortune for a 4 GB DDR2 memory module to experiment with.
