Hello. I am curious about the possibility of RAM upgrade on my HP Laptop (HP15-af023nl) which currently has only 8gb (DDR3L)

But not sure if Laptop could support this. Below, brief system information.

Acc. to cmd output, my max capacity is 8gb. What confuses me is that I have one free slot.

Is upgrade possible or only possibility is to have 4gb+4gb but never more than 8gb?

The notebook will support max 16GB of DDR3L 1600Mhz (2x8GB)

Even if the service manual mentions only 8GB

Example of RAM

[1] However, why "cmd" displays MaxCapacity as 8gb?
[2] will THIS RAM also work?  they have it in local store.

1. Max RAM 16GB, the CPU supports 16GB

2. Yes the RAM you linked should work well.
