Hi
HP support has not been the best at this 😞

We have got different answers at different times
My question is simple can I upgrade the RAM memory on this unit or not ?
Right now it has 8 Gb and sucks in performance and the answer we get is to upgrade the unit to 16 Gb RAM, but when opening the cover I cannot see any RAM slots ?

Best regards Hobbe

With the specs your notebook has, you should see blazing performance. Unfortunately there is no free memory slot from which to upgrade the memory. The memory (RAM) is soldered onto the system board,

The following things could be causing what appears to be low performance.  Check them all.

If your 256 SSD has been filled to  90%  or more of its maximum capacity.

your temp folder has never been cleared

Your virtual memory setting could also be set too high. It should be set to 12 GB of virtual memory
