Hi there, I yesterday purchased a laptop, a HP STREAM 11 (AK1012DX model) and it comes with a 4GB of memory. I currently have a 8GB DD3 SODIM K card that I had purchased for my old HP Pavillion x360, and I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade the ram in this new computer. I forgot to ask the best-buy guy yesterday.
Thanks for your help.
Jonathan!

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately, there isn't anything you can do to increase the memory.
I have a HP Stream 11 Pro G4 with the Celeron N 3450 quad core and 4 GB of onboard memory.
I clean installed W10 to maximize the storage space on the eMMC drive, by deleting every partition on the drive, and that got rid of the bloatware on there.
Mine runs pretty good.
If you don't want to do that, you may want to uninstall any unnecessary programs you would never use.
Also run the MSConfig utility and disable any unnecessary programs from running in the background.

Hi, Jonathan:
You cannot upgrade the memory in that model. It is an integral part of the motherboard as is the drive.
Below is the link to the service manual...
