15 F010WM

Hello. My mother-in-law has an HP computer model 15-F010WM and wants to update her ram. I want to know what ram it’s compatible with and how high can she go.

I saw a manual posted but it didn’t seem to be for this model as it said the ram is not user accessible/upgradeable. Any help is appreciated.

Here is the Manual:

Manual

Memory is DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM and since yours is a Celeron processor it has only one memory slot.

On this model the memory slot is under the access door on the back so you are right it is customer accessible. It has a single 4 gig module now and you can install up to an 8 gig module.

The upgrade will not provide a significant improvement in performance. The Celeron N series processor is a very low end product. A solid state drive would do more, but that is a bit more of a project.
